The test includes 8 hours of an ambient stage with a 1% complex salt spray, 8 hours of a humid stage and 8 hours of a dry-off stage to replicate extreme conditions and validate each tip for resistance to discoloration and corrosion. Additionally, the tips are subjected to a 2-hour thermal heat soak at ~392°F for discoloration evaluation.
