The Accessory Power Distribution Box from GMC Accessories is an add-on module that mounts under the hood and allows you to conveniently control up to four external accessories using auxiliary switches. Your vehicle may or may not be equipped with an AUX switch in the center of the instrument panel that is intended to control one accessory. If you don’t have the switch or are looking to control more than one external accessory, it might require the Accessory Auxiliary Control Switches from GMC Accessories (sold separately) to control the function of accessories, and installation by an authorized GMC Dealer is recommended. Includes one module, wiring and installation hardware.

This power distribution box is required to operate the factory auxiliary switch equipped on most models that allows the operation of one external accessory. If looking to control more than one external accessory (in this instance), the Accessory Auxiliary Control Switches (sold separately) are required, allowing the control of an additional three external accessories, such as the Front Off-Road Auxiliary Lights (sold separately) and the 40-Inch Sport Bar-Mounted Off-Road Lamp (sold separately).
Depending on whether or not your vehicle has a center instrument panel AUX switch, you can control up to four external independent accessories. The current cannot exceed the 60-amp limit. On Accessory Auxiliary Control Switches (sold separately), there can be no more than 25 amps per external accessory.
Operating a snowplow is not recommended as the power required exceeds the 60-amp limit.
