Securely transport your valuables inside this GMC Accessories Console-Mounted Safe. This high-security safe mounts inside the center console and provides secure, lockable storage hidden within the original center console. It’s made with 16 gauge steel construction with 1/8-inch welded steel components. No drilling is required to install, and it retains access to your USB port(s) and power outlets once installed. Includes console-mounted safe and two bolts.

During installation the safe is secured within the center console using two bolts. This prevents it from being pulled out of the center console. To remove the safe, it will need to be unlocked and open. The foam piece at the bottom will need to be removed to access the bolts, which can then be loosened for removal.
