Rooftop tents require roof rack cross rails or pickup bed racks (sold separately) for mounting.
Wash your tent cover every few months using a mild dish soap and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaning products, and only rinse using a low-pressure stream of water. Failing to do so risks removing the waterproof coating, damaging the stitching or compromising the welded seams. Treat your cover at least twice a year with a vinyl protectant, specifically one that renews the UV protection.
The expanded polyethylene foam flooring helps eliminate condensation that can form under the tent mattress. You can also vent the tent windows at night, as well as close doors and windows that face the sun to keep sunlight out.
